Have had my sheets for several weeks. After some initial shedding, they have become beautifuly soft.
Unlike other fabrics, linen is measured using
‘GSM’ instead of thread count. This is because
the width of a linen thread is naturally wider
lending itself toward a low thread count. This
doesn’t mean linen is low quality. It simply means
thread count is not an appropriate measure
for linen quality. Hence the use of ‘GSM’ which
measures weight.
